Fresh chestnuts are prepped and lightly charred to create a decadent flavor thats rich and buttery-sweet. Simply open the vacuum-sealed bag to unlock the flavor, and add chestnuts to your favorite sweet or savory recipes.

Classic chestnut recipes include holiday stuffing, creamy pures, and tasty roasted veggie sidesbut dont stop there; chestnuts also taste delicious in risotto, or pured into pancake batter or chocolate mousse. Favorite flavor pairings include bacon, sage, butternut squash, apples, porcini mushrooms, cream and chocolate.

Melissas organic chestnuts are grown without chemical pesticides or fungicides. They are third party certified as being organically grown in accordance with the guidelines mandated by the USDA’s Organic Foods Production Act of 2002.

Two-month minimum shelf-life if refrigerated properly. Store unused portions in the refrigerator and use within two days of opening.
