Menengic coffee is made by roasting and grinding the fruits collected from the menengic tree, which grows in the mountainous regions of Turkey. Menengic Coffee, is also known as itlembik, edene, or tlk in the local language.

Menengic Coffee can be made in 2 ways using milk and water. Menengic Coffee, which is generally preferred to be cooked with milk, is recommended to be cooked with skimmed or semi-skimmed milk since it has an oily structure. Depending on the number of portions you intend to make, you can get a delicious coffee by slowly mixing 1 teaspoon of Menengic Coffee per cup with a cup of milk or water on low heat in a coffee pot. If you prefer milk, you can add more than a teaspoon of menengi coffee. The amount of menengi coffee you will add can beadjusted according to your preference. If desired, you can add additional sugar.
