Mackerel landed in western Japan is made with miso made from Japanese soybeans and rice, is sweetened with raw sugar from Kikajima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, which gives it a deep flavor.

The fish is cooked tender all the way down to it’s bones so you can enjoy the entire fish while intaking a good source of calcium.

It can be eaten as a side dish, snack, or as an ingredient in a recipe!
