This Turkish Coffee is mixed with mastic, to create a more robust flavor.Mastic is a resin, or aromatic gum, that is taken from the bark of a Mediterranean tree and often used as flavoring.It is described as having a flavor that can be similar to acombination of fennel, anise and mint.

Directions:Use 5-6 grams (1.5 teaspoon) of coffee per 65ml of water. Add the water into apot and set it tolow heat.Add the coffee and your choice amount of sugarto the water and mix them slowly. Once thecoffee comes to a bubble over time, serve the froth into your cup(s). Then boil the remaining coffee some more, and pour the remainder into your cup(s).
