Vadouvan

Description

Vadouvan curry spices are a version of a masala with the addition French aromatics like shallots and garlic. It brings a signature roasted flavor thanks to the process of toasting many of the spices before they are blended with the final ingredients. To use it as a base for a classic French curry, make a curry paste by mixing equal parts vadouvan spices, olive oil, and water.
