All bell peppers start out green; each color reflects a degree of ripeness. Red Bells are the most mature ripening stage, with the sweetest flavor and twice as much vitamin C than a green bell. Melissas convenient sleeve package will contain three of the four colors: Red, Yellow, Orange and Green.
